Background

This website is a joint effort of the Academic ADL Co-Lab (AADL), the University of Wisconsin System (UWS), and Wisconsin Technical College System (WTCS). The AADL's focus surrounds the SCORM (Shareable Content Object Reference Model), a specification that enables interoperability and reusability of web-based content. The Learning Technology Development Council within the UWS assists in facilitating a wide variety of academic initiatives around the incorporation of technology into learning. WTCS, in a project based at Fox Valley Technical College, has been working over the course of the past few years under a grant to develop learning objects. In addition to exploring the various aspects of learning object creation, WTCS has also developed a process for outreach and training for their own faculty around learning object creation.

Its the our expectation that others will become involved, offering their own experience and insights as our collective understanding evolves.
