Finding Learning Objects

While the effective instructional breakdown of content on the front end of learning object creation is important. On the opposite side is the aspect of finding and utilizing content that's been pre-constructed around a learning objective that you have identified within your course.

While standards compliance ensures the ability for learning objects to be interoperable, issues about how to find learning objects and how to store them continue to be explored. As is with learning object storage, learning object discovery may be conducted through a content catalog managed by a learning object repository.

Some methods for finding objects are identified as well as respository specific information around discovering learning objects.
