What is a learning object?
An official definition has yet to be coined, but
there are many different perspectives as to how one is defined...
Learning objects are self-standing, reusable, discrete
piece of content that meets an instructional objective. Learning
objects may be tagged with meta-data so that users can easily
identify and locate specific learning objects in a Web-based environment.
